Join us for the 19th annual Art in the Open painting festival, Ireland and Europe’s premier plein air event. Enjoy seven days of painting across stunning locations, with a different venue each day, from castles and abbeys to harbours, fields, and villages. A return coach runs daily from Wexford. The festival includes optional workshops, talks, social events, and a major exhibition with awards at Green Acres Gallery. Artists from around the world attend each year. Visitors are welcome to watch and meet the artists. Don’t miss the charity Quick Draw—a two-hour paint-out over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with artwork for sale in aid of Wexford Special Olympics.
