About this activity
Check out Carrigaholt Bay, the first safe harbour for boats travelling up the Shannon River, and walk along the the two quays. If you're on a tight schedule, be sure to visit the southern quay, or the 'new quay', which boasts views of a 15th Century castle, operational fishing boats and dolphin watching trips.
