At Bantry Bay Sailing Club, Bantry, County Cork, beginners on the water can make a first attempt at boating. For more experienced sailors, the club is within a couple of miles of some of the deepest waters in Europe. With experienced instructors, the Bantry Bay Sailing Club is a certified training centre under the ISA (Irish Sailing Association). There are a range of courses for all skill levels, whether it’s a beginner wanting to undertake the adventure that is sailing or an experienced sailor ready to take to the water once more, they have a suitable course available. The minimum age for courses is 10 years old. Participants need their own full-length wetsuit, a buoyancy aid/life jacket and old runners/booties.
