Ring Strand is a popular sandy beach amongst the locals. It is situated about 3.5 kilometres from Ballymacoda in East Cork and approximately 12 kilometres from Youghal. It is a Special Protectection Area and Special Area of Conservation. It looks out onto Ballymacoda Bay and Pillmore.
