About this activity

The Killybegs Walk and Talk tour is a looped walk incorporating the wide and varied history of the town, focusing on the many aspects of the Killybegs fishing industry and history, while highlighting it's key medieval sites and buildings of interest. The walk incorporates 10 major points in the town. The 16th century grave slab of the Chief Neil Mor MacSuibhne, St. Mary's Church of the Visitation, the residence of the late Bishop Mc Ginley 'Bruach na Mara', the early 18th century Corn Store, the remains of the medieval St. Catherine's Church and Graveyard, the ruins of the early 14th century residence of the Bishops of Raphoe and St. Catherines's Holy Well.
