Glenquin Castle

Gleann an Choim was a fortified dwelling, for the protection against raids and invaders, more correctly described as a Tower House. It is a square, crenelated, six storey limestone tower house built over four floors and has been partly repaired and re-roofed. The castle has had restoration works carried out and is in a good state of repair.
