About this activity
Derrymore Beach is located just a few miles from Tralee in County Kerry. It is a stunning sandy beach, ideal for walking. Derrymore Island is located to the east of Derrymore Strand and is home to a nature reserve supporting many rare plants communities. It is also an important high-tide roosting area for shore birds.
