About this activity
The harbour features a small beach and pier, as well as Blacksod Lighthouse, an operational lighthouse that was built in 1894 and played a role in WWII. Visitors to the harbour can walk along the pier and enjoy stellar views across Blacksod Bay and to Achill Island in the south.
